JUMP-ROPE-A-THON

Dearest Fans and Friends,

I recently received a letter from Sophia who is a student at Mayfield High School. Sophia had a rather unique request. She invited me to join her classmates' effort to raise funds for the American Heart Association by participating in the Jump-Rope-A-Thon on Valentine's Day!

I'm eager to support the cause as both of my grandmothers have suffered from recent heart attacks. Both of them have recovered well, and I hope to bring more awareness to the heart disease epidemic facing the United States. While both my grandmas are fortunate in making a full recovery, I believe that the real reward comes in preventing heart attacks through awareness of signs and promoting cardiovascular health.

This event will help "jumpstart" my recovery from pregnancy and childbirth!

Please come join me, Sophia, and the Mayfield High School student body between 7:45-3:00pm on Valentine's Day, February 14th, 2008 to make a difference and promote cardiovascular health!
